FRONTIER SUPPY, a leading western Canadian based plumbing, heating and HVAC supply wholesaler with its Head Office in Calgary, and branches throughout Alberta and Saskatchewan, is looking for experienced and qualified persons to work as general Warehouse Associates (Shipping/Receiving) in its CALGARY (1320 Highfield Cr. S.E.), EDMONTON (14635 - 121 A Avenue NW) and RED DEER (7280 Johnstone Drive) locations.

The ideal candidates we look for are:

  • able to speak/write English
  • good with administration and have basic math skills
  • detail oriented
  • able to follow policy/procedure to minimize errors
  • basic computer and keyboarding skills
  • able to lift up to 85 pounds (with assistance)

Previous experience (ideally 1-2 years) in warehouse work (shipping/receiving/dispatch), and the plumbing and heating wholesale industry, or an equivalent industry (eg. HVAC warehousing), is required.

You should also have good organizational skills, basic computer skills, and generic forklift experience (ticket required). Successful First Aid certification, WHMIS 2015/GHS and TDG training are also required.

Grade 12 education or equivalent required. Other equivalent combinations of education, knowledge and experience will be considered.

This position requires periodic heavy lifting and some extended bending and stretching in a medium risk work environment and lifting up to 85 lbs (with help). The successful applicants must provide their own steel toed work boots (Frontier is COR certified through the Alberta Construction Safety Association).
